Butler Center lesson plans refer teachers to resources about Arkansas to implement the curriculum frameworks set by the Arkansas Department of Education.

All the lesson plans include hyperlinks to relevant entries in the Encyclopedia of Arkansas History and Culture and to other useful online resources.

Teachers are encouraged to use material from the Butler Center's AV/AR and other digital collections on this site and from the CALS web catalog to supplement the lesson plans.
